Sometimes i wonder why people go through the trouble of telling me about their problems and I’m not talking about problems like they have no summer job yet or that they failed their exam or something I’m talking about when they’ve depression or anxiety or something else like that and come to me and tell how bad they feel and I’m here just like yeah ok I think you’re awesome and I love you and I truly think you’re beautiful and I truly believe you’re going to make it and I believe you’re going to get better and I believe you’re not going to feel like that forever but I can’t say those things because I’ve seen so many people with depression or anxiety or something like that saying how that doesn’t help andhow they’re sick of hearing the same things over and over again and how I shouldn’t call you beautiful because you have a eating disorder because that’s condescending and how my words are basically good as nothing because depression can’t be cured with hope and that makes me feel really sad because I’d like to help even a little and I don’t like when people are that sad because they deserve so much better

and it always escalates to the point where I remember the time when my friend said too me I suck at comforting people and get sad and realize I really can’t say anything except “I feel sorry for you but don’t worry you’re going to make it” and think I’m a bad friend and therefore good as nothing because atm I don’t think I’m worth anything and only exist because of other people but if I can’t even be a good friend and make them feel better even a little bit then what value do I have

Then I feel more bad because how dare I turn other people’s misery about myself and how I feel like that I’m not good enough when they have real reasons to feel sad how can I be so selfish

maybe itd be better if i was alone

The first of 12 Mutual short films considered the Masterpieces of his short films and his most creative period as a film maker. It would be in these films he would really exhibit what Nijinsky noted as his balletic moves. One word that comes to mind when thinking of the Mutuals -“joyful”. He was just happy and it showed in these films.
